Helen, JoLynn and David took a trip to Sutter Creek in the Gold Country to visit Marlene and Charles Inman.

Marlene, Charles and Helen have been friends for a long while so the stories were great and came thick and fast. Marlene cooked us a wonderful meal while we all got to know each other.

On Sunday we all went and had breakfast at the George Hotel in Volcano, just down the road from Sutter Creek. The Inmans ran the hotel for a while until they sold it a few years back. We all enjoyed seeing the place again, greeting old friends and making a few new ones.
